A 3 page research paper that addresses the topic of cultural competency in nursing. Census statistics indicate that the population of the US is annually becoming more culturally diverse. This fact poses a challenge to healthcare professionals as providing care that is culturally congruent with the patient can significantly affect the likelihood of positive patient outcomes.
